We, here at Victory Heights Montessori School, acknowledge that our school (and our home) resides on the homelands of the Coast Salish people, specifically the Duwamish Nation. Although we cannot personally return the lands to the First People from which they were taken, we will continue supporting the return of the ancestral lands which belong rightfully to the Duwamish People.
